IATSE Organizes “Dream Boy”

IA President Short Appoints Safety Chairman

St. Francisville, LA — Organizers from Locals 478, 600 and the IATSE successfully obtained an agreement with the low-budget motion picture, “Dream Boy.” The agreement calls for retroactive benefit contributions, overtime adjustments, travel pay and additional industry standard conditions.

Filming in St. Francisville, LA, the low-budget production was comprised of a mixture of IATSE and non-union crew members. Two days of negotiations culminated in an agreement without the need for a job action. Over 90% of the crew signed authorization cards and most of the non-union crew accepted applications into their appropriate local union.
