IATSE Organizes Nashville-based Film “Two Weeks”

IA President Short Appoints Safety Chairman

Organizers from the IATSE and Locals 600 and 492 were successful in obtaining an agreement for the low budget motion picture, “Two Weeks” which was shooting in Nashville, TN it was announced today by IATSE President, Thomas C. Short.

Led by International Representatives Scott Harbinson and Dan Mahoney, the contract provided immediate wage increases ranging from 50-70% and retroactive benefits. The agreement also provided for two separate tiers of wage deferrals. The local unions involved were represented on the ground by Local 492 President, Peter Kurland and Local 600 Field Rep John Hilsman.
