Halifax, Nova Scotia – I.A.T.S.E. Locals 667 (Eastern Canada – Cinematographers) and 849 (Atlantic Region – Motion Picture Technicians) have just signed first agreements with the critically acclaimed television series Trailer Park Boys, produced by Topsail Entertainment. The production is in its fourth season on Showcase and was recently picked up by BBC America for distribution in the United States.

The agreement includes pay rates consistent with similar productions and the introduction of a benefit package. Trailer Park Boys was one of the few remaining non-union productions shooting in Atlantic Canada over the last twelve months. This agreement is significant as it solidifies the presence and strength of the I.A.T.S.E.
