IATSE Organizes “Vegas Vamps”

IA President Short Appoints Safety Chairman

The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employes (IATSE) has successfully organized the low budget feature “Vegas Vamps,” it was announced by Thomas C. Short, IATSE International President. The $1.2 million feature, shot entirely in Las Vegas and produced by Vegas-based CMX Productions, is covered under the IATSE Low Budget agreement.

The contract will impact 41 people on the crew and provide fully retroactive terms, wages, conditions and benefits.

Combining forces with Las Vegas Teamster Local 631, the organizing efforts were led by International Representative Jamie Fry and IA Local 720 Representative Giovanni Targaglia.
