IATSE Successfully Organizes “Constellation”

IATSE Announces Agreement with NETworks

The low budget theatrical production, “Constellation” was successfully organized by representatives of the IA TSE and Locals 600, it was announced by International President Thomas C. Short.

An organizing team led by International Representative, Scott Harbinson arrived in Huntsville, AL., during the second week of production. Assisted by John Hilsman from Local 600 and International Representative Don Gandolini, the organizers quickly obtained authorization cards from the majority of the crew, made its demand for recognition and set a strike deadline.

The company also agreed to provide retroactive benefits for each covered crew member, agreed to increase crew wages to scale rates retroactively and signed an agreement that provided the crew with industry standard working conditions.
